What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small values a website or service can place in a browser. Similar technologies include local storage and provider identifiers. They can support security, remember a choice, enable a requested communication tool or measure use.

A technology being called a cookie does not determine whether consent is required in every country. This site separates strictly necessary operation from optional third-party contact tools and gives a clear allow-or-decline choice.

Strictly necessary operation

The site stores the visitor’s optional-tool decision under the local-storage key sl_optional_tools_v1 so that Smartsupp and Elfsight are not loaded after a decline and the choice is not repeatedly requested. This device-level value records only accepted or declined.

The active form server may use a short-lived, secure, HTTP-only session cookie for rate limiting and abuse prevention. It is not used for advertising or cross-site profiling. Core content, direct email, telephone and ordinary WhatsApp links remain available without optional tools.

Optional Smartsupp and Elfsight tools

If the visitor selects “Allow chat tools”, the browser loads Smartsupp for live chat and Elfsight for the floating WhatsApp contact control. These providers may receive technical request data and may store cookies or other identifiers needed for their features. Information deliberately entered into a provider’s chat or messaging route is also processed through that provider.

Elfsight states that visitors to websites with its widgets may encounter the elfsight_viewed_recently cookie, used to prevent inflated views. Smartsupp’s data-processing materials describe its role in processing chat-service personal data. Provider behavior and settings can change, so the production configuration and provider notices must be reviewed periodically.

How to manage your choice

Use the Cookie settings control below or in the footer to allow or decline the two optional tools. Declining does not restrict site content, legal guides, email, telephone or the ordinary WhatsApp link. If optional tools were already loaded, declining reloads the page so they are no longer initialized for the new visit.

Browser controls can also clear site storage and provider cookies. Clearing storage removes the remembered choice, so the website will ask again. Provider cookies already created may also need to be cleared through browser settings.

Changes to this policy

This policy must be updated before adding analytics, advertising, a new embedded service or a materially different provider setting. The production scan should compare the actual network and storage behavior with this disclosure during Phase 7 and after material vendor changes.
